What advice can you offer to other Google+ users? (Weekly Topic Inspiration)
Google+ is one of the largest and fastest-growing social networks. With a whopping 400 million members, it is affecting the way many people use the internet as a networking tool. Do you have a Google+ account? Are you thinking of signing up for one? Tell us what you think about Google+, what you like (or don’t like) about using it, and what advice you’d offer to new users. For group support and the full WTI how-to, stop by our official forum thread: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/109696

Why, thanks, NotPC, that's awfully nice of you! Unfortunately I don't actually have G+ myself. I had one when it first came out, but it didn't really fit in with my lifestyle. But I'm looking forward to learning more about it through this week's WTI.
When you step in Google+ Land for the first time, you may get lost. However, if you take an attentive look and read some guidelines, you may find this social network a worthy place to stay in. read more
Google+ threw me for a loop the first time I used it. I had been able to master every other social networking site quickly, but with so many different features, I was a little bit overwhelmed. I dismissed it quickly, but have recently decided to utilize it as a tool for marketing myself in a professional way on the Internet. My Facebook and my Twitter accounts are very casual. I interact with friends/family on those websites, so I don't feel the need to sell myself there. Google+ is my way of still connecting with those people, but limiting how much my personal life effects my profile.
In terms of user-friendliness and simplicity, I wouldn't recommend walking blindly into this social networking platform. If you're going to sign up for Google+, or you're like me and just confused as to how to get started, here's a pretty good link to help you out with its features:

I definitely think we'll be seeing a rise in profiles this year! Info-graphics already show the increase in movement towards Google+. It is Google, after all. A multinational corporation. The most visited website on the Internet. We didn't think they'd let Facebook run the market on social media forever, did we?
